Chivas Brothers, the Scotch whisky business of Pernod Ricard, has unveiled its newly refurbished Leven office at its Kilmalid bottling facility in Dumbarton, Scotland. Spectral Lighting provided a touch of class to the key of the new-look building which as Chivas says, ‘has been designed to bring more colleagues together to enjoy connection, creativity, and conviviality’.
Working together with Atellier Ten Glasgow and Graven architects, RIDI Group supplied the narrow profiled suspended Spectral S36 with it’s LPO diffuser as the mainstay lighting. The wrap-around reeded opal diffuser not only softens the appearance of the luminaire but it also gives good vertical light in the space too. It offers something that bit different to a conventional strip line of light. The S36 was used throughout the meeting rooms, breakout spaces, brand theatre rooms and collaboration spaces.
To add further visual interest to the space, Spectral’s iconic suspended Loop pendant was installed over meeting and breakout spaces. Loop incorporates an unusual lenses structure that gives an added sparkle to the luminaire appearance. These luminaires also had the added feature of an integrated Cassambi wireless controller so that users can set the levels of the pendant via an app.
