Albex Logistics, a division of the group, handles food-related logistics, including storage and distribution, This is their significant, new, 150,000 sq. ft facility at London Gateway Logistics Park. RIDI Designed, supplied and installed the full lighting system, based on LINIA-EVO. In addition we supplied a wireless lighting control system with full emergency lighting testing and reporting. All luminaires are fully dimmable and regulate based on occupancy and natural light levels to optimise energy savings. The wireless system required only power to the lighting trunking, hugely simplifying the install process. Wireless emergency testing monitors all the emergency lights, performs routine testing and emails reports to the site team. In addition the simple tablet based GUI provides a simple indication of any emergency lighting issues at a glance and is situated by the entrance to the warehouse to allow a visual check every day.
