Chancellors Building, Bath University

The Chancellors Building on the campus of Bath University looked for inspiration when trying to find a lighting system to make a statement in their atrium. Eventually an idea to suspend random arrangements of Spectral Sinus was proposed and this captured everyones imagination.

To make a strong feature the light is produced from an RGB system to give the space a sense of drama in the evenings. By day, the vast amount of daylight highlights these sculptural forms which appear to glow in different colours rather than emit.
